Improving Life - The Design of Swedish Innovations

National Museum of Singapore,
The Concourse

Jointly organised by the Embassy of Sweden and the National Museum of Singapore, Improving Life - The Design of Swedish Innovations is a showcase of 65 innovative designs and inventions that have shaped and changed our lifestyles.

The  exhibition looks at day-to-day innovations that we often overlook such as the modest zipper and Tetra Pak, as well as complex engineering marvels, like the secret to ‘all-wheel drive’ and ‘eureka’ that sparked the birth of mobile  telephony.   These  products  are not just functional, but are also well-designed to express form and beauty. This combination of usability and beauty is a trademark of Swedish products.

Main Sponsors: Ericsson, ABB, Volvo and Electrolux
