Imprints: Designing from Memories

National Museum of Singapore,
The Atelier, Level 3
10am - 6pm

Known as the Little Thoughts Group, 20 local industrial designers come together to explore the relevance of heritage and culture in contemporary design.

Using multiple media including reclaimed objects, state of the art materialsand manufacturing techniques, the designers challenge the notion and origin of “Singapore Design”.

The Little Thoughts Group invites you to take a ride back in time as objects from Singapore’s cultural past are transformed into innovative modern-day treasures, simultaneously invoking and rejecting nostalgia on the journey of creative reinvention.
