The front block of the museum building dates back to 1887. It features an elegant neo-Palladian design, a European style of architecture characterised by a highly symmetrical façade and the use of pediments above windows.
A showcase of new merchandise designed by local talents developed for MUSEUM LABEL
The National Heritage Board’s (NHB) MUSEUM LABEL works with different local artists and designers to create merchandise designs that promote Singapore's heritage and culture.
EVERYDAY OBJECTS is the latest collaboration between MUSEUM LABEL, FARMSTORE and Hans Tan, showcasing local designs which transform eight everyday items into 40 creative and meaningful objects.
Check out the contributions from 32 Singapore artists and designers, and eight winning entries from members of the public.
