The search for knowledge in Islam is highly regarded and is traditionally seen as an act of worship. Knowledge in Islam is not just confined to religious matters but extended to encompass the world at large as Muslims believe that all that exist are indicative of the great handiwork of Allah.
Learning is obligatory for both men and women.
