Johannes Widodo (1960) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture with a joint appointment in Asian Cities Cluster to Asia Research Institute (ARI) at the National University of Singapore. His area of specialisation includes architecture, urban history and morphology of Southeast Asian cities, Asian modernity, and heritage conservation. He is an executive core member of mAAN (modern Asian Architecture Network), jury of UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Culture Heritage, member of ICOMOS International Training Committee (CIF), executive editor of the Journal of Southeast Asian Architecture (Singapore), and member of several heritage societies and networks in the region.
