Homemade 07: Singapore Music

The event that celebrates our local music is back!

Homemade focuses on Singapore’s musical talents and pays tribute to the movers and shakers of the local scene. The project has evolved from a small series of performances presented during the Museum’s Opening Festival last year to a larger scale showcase -featuring more interesting and exciting collaborations between local musicians, old and new.

This year’s selection looks at the anthology of locally produced music – investigating the evolution of our country’s music-making talents. Jam with our very first and foremost rock-goddess, Wendi Koh, reminisce the 90’s with ballads from Lovehunters, groove with Singapore’s favourite indie sons, The Stoned Revivals and then dance the evening away with Maia Lee.

You can also witness the epic battle of traditional beats against the electronic synths between Wicked Aura Batucada and DMC champion, DJ Ko Flow!
